On April 21 and 22, 2016 the Scuola Normale Superiore in Florence, Italy hosted the 4th seminar in the Social Movements & Media Technologies series organized by the Centre for Global Media and Democracy (CGMD) at Goldsmiths University of London and the Centre on Social Movement Studies (COSMOS), Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences, Scuola Normale Superiore, Florence. I had the great privilege of being an invited participant for this engaging seminar organized around the theme “The Missing Actor: The Meaning of Political Cultures for Media/Movements Interactions” – check out the list of presenters and abstracts as well as the past and future work of the series.
